Ready Set Goal!

 

WHAT’S YOUR DREAM?  Do you have a bucket list?  Is it written down?  If so–that’s awesome…but a bucket list typically focuses on highligts in your life and doesn’t add satisfaction into day to day living.  With that in mind, I always encourage people to take their bucket list and plug it into a life list. 

A life list is made up of short and long term goals in the following ten areas of life:

  • Health and general self improvement
  • Profession
  • Finances
  • Learning and/or education
  • Love and family/Close relationships
  • Friendship
  • Home/Physical environment in which you live and work
  • Hobbies and recreation
  • Volunteer work/Charities
  • Spirituality/Meaning/Transcendence

Take a few moments to think about the short and long term goals you have in each of these areas.  The end game is to have a complete set of goals that give you a very holistic vision of where you aspire to go and how you can find meaning and satisfaction in life through balanced growth!
